’s (CAU) Division of Cooperation held an International Bazaar. International Exchange Students prepared their countries’ foods. The Bazaar gave International Exchange Students a chance to understand and experience diverse cultures. In addition, CAU students got the chance to cultivate a global mind through the arrangement of an uncontrived meeting place.

The Chinese students prepared a special food that we can eat in a typical Chinese restaurant in China. The Japanese students prepared Gomokmaesi, which is similar to triangle Kimbab in Korea, and Dongjil, which is like a traditional folk soup in Korea. The French students prepared a variety of different kinds of crepes. The United States students prepared Jambalaya (A typical Cajun Chicken dish from New Orleans). The Finnish and Lithuanian students prepared additional food from their country. The International Students also prepared a special event every hour.

The International Bazaar was held in two locations: the Jock-gu court, near CAU’s University Chapel at the Seoul campus, and at a yard in front of the Performance and Picture Center at the An-seoung campus. The events took place from 12 o’clock to 5 o’clock on October 12, 13.
