The 4th Annual Best Movie Awards, an awards ceremony that selects those who receive the awarded by netizens over the Internet, was held in the Chung-Ang Art Center on February 7th at 7 p.m. Many famous actors, actresses, and movie directors visited the CAU Art Center including Zo, In Sung, and Kim, Ah-jueng. Zo, In, Sung won the Best Actor Award for playing a leading role in ‘A Dirty Carnival’, and Kim, Ah-Jueng won the Best Actress Award by playing a leading role in ‘S Line’. Ben, He-bong, a backbone actor who played a father in the movie ‘The Host’ won the Best Supporting Actor award in this ceremony, and Na, Moon-he won the Best Supporting Actress by playing a mother’s role in ‘Cruel Winter Blues’. For the ‘New Face Award’, a student of CAU got the prize, Rew Duck Hwan, by playing a role in ‘Like A Virgin’. The ‘Best Movie Award’ is the world’s only movie awarding ceremony that is selected only by netizens. Because of its exclusiveness, the press coverage was passionate. Attending the ceremony was the New-York Times and other press from Japan. Since the award is given by netizens, the ceremony is considered fair and transparent. The ‘Best Film Award’ went to the movie ‘Radio Star’. The director is Bong, Jun-ho, who also won the ‘Best Director Award’ for ‘The Host’. ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest’ won the ‘Best Foreign Film Award’. As for the ‘Best Poster Award’, Spotunic, who made a movie poster for ‘A Dirty Carnival’, won the prize, and as for the ‘Best Trailer Award’, Seoul Vision, who made the preview of the ‘The Host’, won the prize.
