There is a beginning, and there is also an end.’ Like this saying, all things have to ‘begin’ and ‘end’. Now, as I have only a few days of work left at The Chung-Ang Herald (CAH), I am recalling my CAH life. I feel that my university life actually started with my CAH life. When I was freshman, I wanted to be a writer. My reason for entering CAH was also to improve my English skills, so that I could translate my novels. In the poster of CAH, there was ‘Uncle Sam’. He said to me, ‘We want you!’ and it seemed to indicate me. It attracted me. So I entered CAH. Now my dreams, character, hobbies, and other things have changed. If I did not enter, The Chung-Ang Herald, I would have had a boring university life. It would have been like normal life from high school, maybe I would go to the library to study or do homework. I do not want to even imagine such a boring life. Entering CAH was a turning point of my life. Just a few days ago, CAH held its 50th anniversary. In there, many seniors of the Chung-Ang Herald came. I am proud of my senior, who started this CAH. Also, I am proud of my seniors, who did not forget CAH. I also want to be like my seniors. In one month, I will retire from CAH. With happy memories and good people, I will be happily retired. The last thing I want to say to my CAH family is “Thank you for a job well done. I love you guys forever!”
