“This was my first interview after becoming a reporter. Thank you for being my first interviewee.” This ending statement was thrown to Ha Jeong-woo at my first interview. Like this, my reporter life started in February 2006. When I was a high school student, I thought that only people, who were very intelligent, could be a reporter. I thought I was not an intelligent person, because I disliked reading books, magazines -even more I disliked comic books. But the chance came to me anyway! Before I was a reporter, I was just the same as other university freshmen, who have a great passion and desire, and want a lot of opportunities When I was chosen to be a reporter, I thought I was taking advantage of merely ‘one’ of those chances. However, the Chung-Ang Herlad (CAH) is NOT only one chance. It was my life’s turning point, and greatest fortune.
Now, I am leaving CAH, and my university life. At first, I was glad to turn over my editor’s term. Yet, I felt bittersweet emotions in leaving CAH day-by-day. I believe the next editors and reporters will give their all to make the magazines. In addition, I promise to our readers they will be better than ours.
I will keep watch over our magazines, and be a helpful senior. Anytime, the next editors and reporters want or need help, I will help them with all my effort and abilities.
I know the next Editors and Reports will be the best! Because they are Heraldians!
