Career Development Center for Female Students, located in Ansung campus, opened
its ‘2007 Group Program’ last May. This program supports and operates groups for
the development of skills and abilities toward acquiring a promising job and
preparing for employment. The Career Development Center for Female Students
selected 10 groups by occupation after examining the activity plans of the
applicants. Each group has more than seven members, and a maximum of ten.
Students can receive training in the different kinds of occupations shown
- Hotel, Food service - Art
therapist, Music therapist - Public officer
Announcer -Cyber commercial transaction - Writer.
-Curator - Food
coordinator - Cyber shopping mall
wedding planner -Social
interpreter - Sports marketing
-Manager of distribution -Building
- Commencement of a
enterprise - Juvenile education
The groups are helpful in sharing job information and
developing abilities for employment. The Career Center manages the activities of
the groups and financially supports the groups with a 800,000 won a year budget.
When members obtain a license related with the occupation of their group, the
Career Center gives 50,000 won per person in their group. Lectures, Career
coaching, Workshops, and Mentoring are linked to professors, and experts of a
specialized field. Only students on Ansung campus can apply for this program.
However, students in Seoul’s campus can participate in several workshops. If you
