On the 22nd of June, SK Telecom made an MOU(Memorandum of Understanding) on the construction of the smart campus. As a result, both wireless and wire infra will be greatly reinforced so that anywhere inside campus, anyone can use the internet.
CAU’s Park Sang-gyu who is head of the planning department said, “By the optimization of Wi-fi and the establishment of a smart campus, we plan to raise the approachableness of internet access and by reducing communication expenses, we expect to give a big influence on the satisfaction of student’s university life.”
Also as a result, through this agreement he stated that he was planning to give 300,000 students and staff smart devises if requested.
