The 59-year-old homeless man, Kim, sighed. Korail told the homeless man to get out of Seoul Station. He didn’t know where he would live. Korail will control all access of homeless for the purpose of convenience, the safety of passengers, and to improve its image. However, the balloon effect that the homeless may rush to another subway station is a concern. Seoul Metropolitan Government will rent some studio apartments and offer some jobs to the homeless people, but many citizens say it is just temporary. A fundamental solution is that the government should offer systematic facilities, not just a temporary solution. The homeless need some programs so that they can find jobs that they can do. Besides, they should earn their necessities and studio apartments after they exert themselves. In other words, they should feel a sense of accomplishment.
