On September 29th at in Louis hall, the Chung-ang University Bodybuilding club held the bodybuilder contest called the ‘Mr. Chung-ang competition.’ The 12 participants were all from CAU bodybuilding club. To celebrate the event, many graduates who were in the club came. 4 Four judges who were also in the club were looking for the next Mr. Chung-ang with the criteria of their muscle, body, skin, and stage manner.
The Competition competition started with the free posing session of the 12 participants. They all had the stage separatelyindividually. Every participant did their best to show off their body with entertaining music. Some were more focused on showing off their body and others put more efforts to in entertaining the audience. When nono.8 came on the floor, everyone was fascinated by his flawless body and he became the strongest contestant. However, no.12 also amazed the judges and audience with his densely packed muscles. Also, no.11 had the loudest claps and cheerapplause due to his touching story.
After the free posing session, participants came on the stage in the groups of 4 four for the required posing session. On During the required posing session, no. 2 came out to be the strong contestant with his magnificent poses. There was a recession break after the required posing session. During the recession break they gave out gifts by drawing lots and performed other entertainments such as lifting benches lift, and playing rock-paper-scissors scissor paper game.
After the short yet fun recessionbreak, there was a comparing session which comparescomparing several participants at the same time. On During the comparing session, judges had to take a closer look to at no. 7, no. 8, and no. 12. After the comparing session while the judges are decideding on rewardsthe winners, 2 two graduates performed on the stage. 65 year old graduate, who were was a previous Mr. Chung-ang, entertained with his stage manner, and the other graduate, who’s actually a professional body builder, shocked every the audience with his perfect body. After thorough judging, the final result came out. For popularity, no.11 was rewardedNo.11 won the popularity vote. No.2 got the best poser rewardaward. No.5 got the rookie award which is an honor for someone who is’s participating in a bodybuilding contest for the first time. No. 7 came in third over all, and though it was neck and neck between no. 12 and no. 8, no. 8 pulled out ahead for this year’s Mr. Chung-ang. For the third place no. 7 got the reward. No. 12 was placed in second by neck and neck with no. 8. For Mr. Chung-ang, No. 8 got the honor. AllThe crowds cheered not only for the new Mr. Chung-ang but also other participants who did their best.
