On March 9th, singer Kim Jang-hoon visited Chung-Ang University with lunch boxes. Singer Kim Jang-hoon, who is known for his generous donations, decided to help university students who were struggling with high college tuition. Actually Kim came to our campus last year during festival to perform. He performed way longer than he was originally assigned and donated his appearance fee for our school's scholarship, so Chung-Ang University was happy to host his generous and worthy-cause event on our campus. Starting from March 7th, he visited Yonsei University, Soong-sil University, and finally Chung-Ang University with lunch boxes which he would sell as ten thousand won and donate all the profits. Even though the lunch box was only 1,000 won, it contained enjoyable meal for University students. With lunch box, Kim also gave the students some entertainment by hosting free concert with V expedition. The free concert of him was held in Haebang square, so many students could enjoy. Even though it was middle of the day, and the place weren't good enough for Kim to do his original action such as high kick, Kim did his best to make the audiences happy. Not many students weren't expected to show up. However, Kim's enthusiasm, his love towards music, and students’ willing kept the show going with more audiences than expected. . Not only Chung-Ang University students, but also faculty members, and resident in the area all gathered and enjoyed his free concert. The free concert started at 12 o' clock and lasted for one hour and ten minutes. Originally the show was going to last only for ah hour, but because of Kim and audiences' passion during concert, school allowed ten more minutes with Kim and his music in the campus. At last all the audience and even Kim enjoyed the free concert and the lunch box event. After Kim visited 3 Universities in Seoul, he felt the need to broaden this worthy event to all over Korea. Therefore, Kim is planning to host this event in Universities in Gyeongsang-do, and Jeonlla-do for now. Chung-Ang University cheers for his generous act, and support his event genuinely.
