During summer vacation, CAU Anseong campus repaired nearly all of the buildings. By fixing facilities and improving the educational environment, CAU is pursuing an increase in students’ educational efficiency. Through this construction, Ye-ji 1, 2 (male dormitory) and Myung-duck 1, 2 (female dormitory) were remodeled. They also installed air conditioning and heating equipment with Myung-duck 3. Most of the art college building, nature engineering building, wonhyung-kwan (the department of business & economics), the students’ hall, and so on implemented waterproofing adaptations. If electric lecture desk was not installed or worn out, classroom changed electric lecture desk. Decrepit blackboards also were changed. Chairs and desks built for three people used more than 10 years old were exchanged for new desks and chairs for single persons. In addition, the playing field will be replaced with artificial turf thanks to receiving facility support funds from Anseong-si.

Students related positive opinions such as, “The air conditioning and heating system is finally installed. As a dormitory user, I felt quite satisfactory.” “Because of installing the electric blackboard, students and professors will be more functional during class.” However, a few of the students related problems like, “Female dormitory Myung-duck 3 is in urgent need of remodeling. Why doesn’t CAU remodel Myung-duck 3”, “Desks in the college of foreign language are so small. They ought to be changed.” “The college of foreign language building needs to be remodeled, because this building has a very complicated structure.”, “Not only the classroom and dormitory, but also the library needs to be remodeled. In addition, an individual study hall on the fifth floor should repair and install electric outlets.”
