A plastic surgery center in Venezuela made a peculiar advertisement featuring a Disney princess character. In the ad, Ariel of The Little Mermaid got plastic surgery writing 'We make fairy tales come true'. To be more detailed, the Little Mermaid jumps straight out of the ocean onto a plastic surgeon’s table to be a beautiful woman. She looks like an artificial woman with boobs busting out of her dress, a big-sized breast by implant, sharp nose, hiked-up eyebrows and super chiseled cheekbones. This ad was produced by ZEA BBDO, a Venezuelan ad company that also makes advertisements to promote famous franchises such as Pepsi and BMW. The plastic surgery center made a creative and original ad with an idea suggesting you can get beauty without losing your voice (Ariel lost her voice instead of beauty in the fairy tale). However people criticized using a fairy tale character in a plastic surgery ad because they thought it could be disturbing and harmful to children, especially girls and women. Disney princess characters have become a standard and an origin for beauty, but this ad saying, 'We make fairy tales come true by getting plastic surgery’ implies a very dangerous idea and destroys the origin of beauty.
