Laugh a lot! Sleep well!

People who live in South Korea should be careful about their health. We consume large amount of salt and capsaicin from red peppers, which are pretty dangerous for our health. Korean traditional foods are usually very strong flavored. People love them, and, sometimes, put more salt or a red hot pepper in it. However, recently, the government is trying its best to reduce the consumption of these, believing they are the biggest problems of health of citizens. However, there are other fundamental problems people need to be concerned with. Not only Koreans but also people from all over the world can have benefits from them. If people want to have good health, they must follow these.

1 ) Laugh hard!

As we are getting older, we do not laugh a lot. When we were young, we laughed 400 times every day. Young kids are laughing as much that sometimes they laugh without a reason. However, as we are getting older and becoming adults, we cannot laugh so much; only about 6 times every day. Some healthy people might think that ‘I don’t laugh a lot, but I’m okay. Will it affect me?’, but we have to realize laughing provides great benefits to us.

First of all, Laughing makes your muscles move. When we laugh hard, it can make 231 parts of muscles move, even the parts that people do not usually use move. So if we laugh hard for 1 minute, it creates similar impact similar to 10 minutes exercise. Second, laughing influences brain nerves. By influencing on nerves, it reduces heart beat and stress, lessening the possibilities of heart attack.

Then, how we should laugh? People need to gather first. When people gather, the possibilities of laughing get higher 33 times higher. Also, laugh out loud, laugh with outbreathing. Finally, laugh long. It creates endorphin, losing stress. We have to realize ‘we do not laugh because we are happy. We are happy because we laugh’.

2 ) Sleep well!

When people do not have time, they spend less time sleeping to finish their jobs. However, this is not beneficial for your health. When we do not sleep, our body parts cannot recreate cells, making our skin and brains get old. Also, we cannot recover from fatigue we gained yesterday. This makes people less efficient when they are studying or working. For this reason, schools in Europe and other parts of the world make their students exercise hard and have less time for studying, so they can sleep well. Students in this condition can study very well during class time.

Then, how can we sleep well? First of all, we can exercise for 40 minutes before sleeping regularly. By having 40 minutes exercise, the body can relax and sleep well. Second, do not watch TV or play computer games before sleeping. These make brain have images of scenes, and these cannot be deleted while sleeping. Third, do not take long naps. People need to limit it less than 30 minutes. Fourth, do not drink tea, coffee, coke, chocolate, and so on that contain caffeine. Finally, do not drink alcohols. It makes people wake up unintentionally.

Health is really important. If we get diseases that are difficult to cure, payments and stress can affect families greatly. To prevent from having diseases, yes, having less salt and capsaicin is important, yet two fundamental things, laughing and sleeping well, are more important for your health. They are easy to follow, and, can be the changes of life for sure
