On March, 25, 2013, there was a signature-seeking campaign for the National Scholarship Type Ⅱ. Chung-Ang University is eliminated from National Scholarship Type Ⅱ. There are two types of National Scholarship. Type Ⅰ is given based on the incomes of family by the Korea Student Aid Foundation, and Type Ⅱ is differently given to all the universities which freeze the tuition fee for 2013. Chung-Ang University also froze the tuition fee. However, since then the number of students from natural sciences and engineering was increased and the total amount of tuition fee was also increased. The Korea Student Aid Foundation considered this as a rise of individual tuition fee, so they dropped out Chung-Ang University. The University said that they will compensate for the National Scholarship Type Ⅱ. Autonomously, the University plans to give students school scholarship which should be the same amount as in the National Scholarship Type Ⅱ.

This day’s campaign was held by the student council of The College of Liberal Arts Action and Club Alliance Cable. They stated that the university is responsible for failing from The National Scholarship Type Ⅱ, but, the university is imputing the faults to the students. According to the promoters of this campaign, the student council constantly asked for a reduction in the tuition fee from the school. However, the school administration ignored this suggestion and froze the tuition fee. At the campaign place, members of the student council of the College of Liberal Arts Action and Club Alliance Cable were gathering signatures from students. Students who participated in the signature-seeking campaign also wrote short letter to the school on a ribbon.
