Have you ever heard of Chung-Ang University's Pyeongdong campus? Red cross college of nursing students have studied at the Pyeongdong campus before. From now on, they will move to Chung-Ang University's Seoul campus. The Pyeongdong campus will be used as a place where some of the college of Art students take some of their major courses. Students have various opinions about this. Some students say that it will be a good opportunity for them, because there are many places like the Seoul Municipal Art Museum, commercial art galleries nearby. On the other hand, others insist that it is unnecessary for students to study at the Pyeongdong campus. Since the lessons which they will take at the Pyeongdong campus are not different from lessons that were taught at the Anseong campus. CAH interviewed a sophomore student Park Hyeon-il,  who majors in Fashion Design, to hear a student's opinion .

CAH : What do you think about the issues concerning the Pyeongdong campus as a student of Art college?

Park : I think the Pyeongdong campus is a good place where students can practice their works. Not only practice but other lessons which are taken in the Pyeongdong campus will have lots of advantages. Students' eyes will be opened by the rich cultural and artistic infrastructure in Seoul compared to Anseong. In addition, accessibility to Dong-daemoon makes it possible to do brisk work at self-improvement and smooth out practice. However, it takes 3 hours to purchase and transport the most basic materials from Seoul to Anseong. As a result, we haven't had the same opportunities as other students in Seoul.

The Pyeongdong campus will be an opportunity, if Chung-Ang University makes use of the Pyeongdong campus for the Art college students a priority. If not, it will just be an obstacle for students.
