The student council and app CAMEET opened a market dealing used books in CAU. The market was opened from September 1st to 11st in front of student union hall. The market continued even in rain and many students used the market to get the used book they needed for the new semester, and to sell their used books they bought for last semester. It was a useful event for students because new books are usually too expensive that it can be a burden for most students to buy every semester. Also, they feel bad to throw away their used books that they have only used for one semester. However, through this opportunity, a lot of students could deal with used books by a reasonable price, also could make profit from their books. You still can sell your used items in app CAMEET in school, so I recommend you to deal with used items in school, easily and safely

Interview with Sponsor of the event

CAH: What was your purpose for opening the market?

Sponsor: I’m joining a founding club and I once felt inconvenience while joining flee market in Chung-Ang-In because there wasn’t a classification in category. So we made an app to improve the inconvenience in dealing secondhand items. We thought about how to use it for students and the new semester came. Thus, we opened a market dealing used books for students to buy in comparably cheap price and to sell their used books. Also, we planned to donate 1000 won in every sale proceeds.
