A month has passed since the beginning of the semester. Do you find enthusiasm in school? It is always challenging to adapt to new places, and you are likely to feel more isolated when you are unable to communicate with others. Communication is an essential part of life, as we are social animals. Numerous exchanged students or international students go through difficulties in school because learning and speaking Korean is extremely sophisticated. Moreover, students from non-English speaking country, such as China or France, find themselves difficult to understand lectures taught in English. When confronted with group projects, they go under a serious headache.

           But, do not worry anymore. Da Vinci College of General Education will help you with this through ‘English’ and ‘Communication’ clinic. English clinic is opened for any Chung-Ang University students, regardless of their majors, in order to enhance the students’ English ability. The clinic is free and is preceded in a form of personal tutoring with a native-speaking professor. Students will be able to improve both their speaking and writing abilities and thus, they would be able to handle their course work better in the future. Communication clinic, as the word implies, is established for the students to be more fluent in conveying personal thoughts. Letters of introduction, writing reviews or columns, presentation and Korean Writing; these four lessons are provided for all the students but Korean Writing class is only available to the international students.
