The second CAU culture festival was held from September 22^nd to 28^th in Building 310. The subtitle was “100 Years of Imagination, a Thousand Years to Soar’ as next year is the centennial year of CAU. There were various kinds of events and programs. The exhibition of the events’ posters, a campus travel essay contest named “Chung-Ang has walked 100 years,” a UCC (User Created Contents) contest about etiquette in university life, a communication clinic including English clinic, and a product sales and marketing contest proceeded for seven days during the whole period of the culture festival. In the communication clinic, there were various types of clinics such as making a letter of self-introduction, interviewing, and Korean writing for foreign students. On September 22^nd, there was an opening ceremony and flash mob “Let’s 9o9o” with HURRAH-C in the central square. On September 25^th, special lectures were held in the underground 501. There were lectures about psychology, entrepreneurship and the fourth industrial revolution. In the evening, Yes? Yes! Seoul International Short Film Festival prize works were showed. It offered various films- not only Korean films, but also Chinese, French, American, and Hungarian. The Global Culture Tour Presentation also went along. The next day, on the 26^th, a 3 minute speech challenge and the ACT festival were hosted. The 3 minute English speaking challenge was an English speech contest where the participants selected a topic, improvised about it for three minutes, and then got a 32GB USB for free. The Da Vinci Academy presentation was carried out that day. The Da Vinci academy is a program for students to develop their basic knowledge from self-directed learning. Moreover, lectures about Korean history and wine history of civilizations proceeded. On Wednesday, September 27^th, a classical presentation competition, which included reciting, was held. Both preliminary rounds were completed through e-mail judgment before the competition and the main and final rounds were done on the same day. On September 28^th, there was a poem concert with poet Shin Chul-kyu and after the closing ceremony, the 2^nd Culture Festival ended. This festival provided various programs that students could experience directly so it was a helpful and a good experience for many students.
