On October 31st, the Humanities Talk Concert was held in Building 310 underground Room 601. The main theme of this event was “sympathy”. This humanities lecture was planned to provide students opportunities to receive advice from seniors who graduated from the College of Liberal Arts. The MC was the vice president of the humanities college student council, while three seniors who graduated from Chung-Ang University gave lectures.

First, Ryu Hyo-sang, whose major was English Language and Literature, gave a lecture with the title “Good Vibes Only”. He is now working in the Department of Overseas Marketing at LG. Second, Song Hyung-guk, who graduated from the Department of Korean Language and Literature emphasized the importance of reading books. He is now a KBS reporter and his topic was “Life made of books”. He showed the books that he read and said that humanities will be necessary in the future. Third, Cho Sung-joon, who studied Chinese Language and Literature at the university, lectured with the topic “Slow is smooth, Smooth is fast”. Unlike his major, his job is a soldier. He advised students not to take a shortcut, but rather to choose a long way.
After the lectures, there was a small talk concert with the three lecturers. Students asked various questions such as about their difficulties about future life, employment and so on. These humanities lectures and talk concert gave students chances to communicate with their seniors. Like the theme of the event, they gained sympathy with humanities.
