On November 10th, the fourth MACH Storytelling Short Film Festival was held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Building 208, Room 101. This year was the fourth year of this festival and more students visited the site than last year. This storytelling film festival is one of the academic seminars held at the College of ICT Engineering. Short films, which had been made during the lecture “Practice of Storytelling Contents Production” were shown at the festival. Students who have interest in short films, image production, and MACH class students participated in the event. The theme of the film festival was “Shoebox Stories: Meeting with Digital ‘I’, ‘We’, and Etude of Memory”. Eighteen films were showed and most of them were about students’ own stories. Prizewinners were decided through the scores from three judges and spot poll. Jang Eun-hye and Jung Sung-hoon won the grand prize from their films “Ring” and “Science box”. Also, there were four excellence prize winners: “Grandmother’s sikhye” made by Kim Hyun-joo, “How I met snowboard” by Kim Jun, “Finally I’m a pig” by Geum A-hyun, “Bainat jegori” by Yoo Ji-eun. MACH Storytelling Short Film Festival gave a chance for students in the College of Etngineering to think more deeply. Moreover, it provides an opportunity for students to have an active attitude toward their lectures by making their own films.
