Everyone has their own way of resting, but CAH recommends going up to the rooftop of each building. The Seoul campus of Chung-Ang University has more than 20 buildings, and each building has various views of Seoul and the university campus. Looking at this beautiful scenery from the rooftops will give you great energy for your tired mind and body. However, many students do not know that they can go to the rooftop, or may not want to go to the rooftop. So CAH will introduce the rooftops and the landscape view up there.
Beautiful Scenery of Seoul: The Rooftop of Building 310
Building 310 is the largest building in Chung-Ang University and is relatively high on the Seoul campus, providing the most spectacular view from the rooftop. Students are able to see both the ‘N Seoul Tower’ and the ‘63 Building’, landmarks of Seoul, and the streets and downtown along the Han River, from the rooftop of Building 310. To get to the rooftop garden, students can only enter by tagging their student ID cards on terminals installed at the entrance of the roof garden on the 11th floor. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. from March to November and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. from December to February. It will not be open on weekends, holidays and national holidays, so please keep this information in mind.
Lovely View of the Campus: The Rooftop of Building 204
The rooftop of Building 204 seems to be the most well known rooftop among students. This is because the library is a common facility for all students at Chung-Ang University. Since the library is located at the center of the campus, it is difficult to enjoy the view of Seoul since other buildings on campus block the lines of sight. However, if you want to see many buildings on the campus at a glance, the roof of the library must be the best place. It is attractive enough to see almost every building in the campus from Building 101 to Building 207.
A New Mood of the Scenery: The Rooftop of Building 303
If you simply want to see the scenery of Seoul or the beautiful campus, the roof of Building 303 may not be attractive. But if you want to feel a special atmosphere, the rooftop at 303 will give you a new feeling. Unlike the roof garden of other buildings focused on landscape, this rooftop has a high wall and glass safety fence. Therefore, the shape of the scene is modified through glass fences rather than by the way it looks. This feeling seems stark, but it also adds a sense of stability to the landscape.
Studying or concentrating on a task always requires a break. But it's hard to experience a real rest that gives you peace of mind. However, on the rooftops of many buildings at Chung-Ang University, you will be able to get good quality of rest.
