On July 19, just after the start of the summer vacation, LED display equipment was installed in the library lobby in front of reading room 1. The work was carried out to give students information about the library and help them to use the library more comfortably. Unlike other monitors, LED displays do not use much electricity or emit ultraviolet light. Thus, the new monitors promise not only to increase convenience for students, but also to improve overall learning efficiency. Though the five-hour installation generated some noise and dust, which caused inconvenience for students who used the library during the vacation, in the long run, the LED display will make the library more convenient. CAH hopes that, thanks to the new LED displays in the library lobby, students will become more familiar with the library and better able to make use of the library’s services.
