Starting from the first semester of 2019, the Convergence Lounge has been newly opened on the third floor of Building 310. The Convergence Lounge is divided into students’ and professors' spaces. Here, chairs and desks in various shapes stimulate one's creativity. Existing desks and chairs, staircases with different heights, and monitors and chalkboards installed throughout the space help smooth the process. Chung-Ang University seems to have named this place "Convergence Lounge" in the hope that the integration of learning will take place in this space, as the meaning of convergence is unity and fusion. Originally there were only sofas and very small tables in this space, so there was no practicality. The space was less active because there were only a small number of sofas and desks compared to the larger ones. However, this Convergence Lounge has overcome the shortcomings of this previous space. In addition, it will serve a useful function in solving a sudden set of tasks or group projects because there is no need for a separate application for use, such as a group project room.
