The whole country is panickingdue to the coronavirus(COVID-19) outbreak. Including Chung-Ang University, most schools are closed and waiting for the situation to subside. Under these circumstances, Chung-Ang University students conducted fundraising for many people in need. The student council was responsible for delivering the amount raised, but the fund was initiated by ordinary students. First, in a school community application 'Everytime', one student began recruiting students to aid inthe donation. In addition, another student led the donation in Chung-Ang University's official online community "CAUin." Eventually, the student council continued its fund-raising activities by integrating the donations that were being made. After much consideration, the student council decided to donate to the National Disaster Relief Association. The association is providing personal hygiene products to families during a disaster or crisis who are too burdened to purchase masks and other items, as well as sendinghealth kits to exhausted medical staff and volunteers. It also provides daily necessities and groceries for people who are self-isolating. The total amount of the donated money is 7,466,778 won. Students offered a helpfulhand for many despite the unprecedented national crisis, and the donation campaign successfully wrapped up with the students' warm attention and participation.
