On March 27th, Intelligent Energy Industry Education Research Group of Chung-Ang University had made an agreement with Korea Electric Power Research Institue(KEPRI), a subsidiary research institute of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) established to contribute to the development of national prosperity through research in the field of power technology. An agreement was done by video conference in Building 209, to observe social distancing due to COVID-19. 

    The memorandum of understanding (MOU), which is valid until 2022, includes the following contents; development of future intelligent energy industry, development of high skilled manpower, development of new business models in the field of artificial intelligence, and more. Through this agreement, Chung-Ang University will support artificial intelligence algorithms and the latest IT technology information. In addition, CAU will be provided with advice on educational programs of training outstanding research personnel in the field of intelligent new energy industry from KEPRI.

    An authority from KEPRI expressed their intention that this MOU was a good opportunity to enhance the technological prowess of the intelligent energy field through mutual cooperation of energy technology of KEPRI, and the IT technology of Chung-Ang University. Through this cooperation, CAU and KEPRI are looking forward to contributing to the development of human resources in the new energy industry.
