- freshman : completed over a semester in one's major dept.

- transfer student : completed over a session in one's major dept.

- students must score over 2.0 grade (72/100)on all examinations.

Attention to these rule, If you want to apply for a double major, think deeper and take a cautious attitude. A double major provides that only two times apply.

If you want to give up the double major, complete grades aren't recognized. It is so regretful. cause, If you get take the 10unit, but you give up the double major. that unit is needless.

For the last 3 years there were over 2500 students who completed the double major in these rules. But this is a low number for the whole university students which has over are thousand shakes. Why don't they complete the double major that has the advantage of granting two degrees in 4 years. The problem is attending the double major class.

In this way, double major students are treated discriminatingly and they are not given good scores. But this isn't everything. one professor's speaking is big impact. The professor who is one of the popular lecturer, speaking is very frankly "Get out of hear.! I don't need double majoring student (or second majoring another majoring student)". Double major students has difficult. especially, when they register for a course, another major student's seats aren't permitted but major students seats are permitted. It's better extremely the popular major. students are gave a many dissatisfied but they hasn't some place for complaint. and many major has other rules except school's rules. Likely, mass communication has many limit point. They has a relation test except school's rules. and this major's limit grades are over 3.5 grades. like this, double major apply is very difficult and completion is more difficult to student. A double major isn't easily look like school's rules. and art college isn't permission the double major for last some years. because there lecture is most parts are practicalness lecture. So double major students don't suitability well and class atmosphere is destroyed.

But a thing of the utmost importance is the selection about the double major, the second major, the transform major. And double majoring students think very carefully.

 In case of the second major or the transform major, many  students request with un-responsibility and cancel or give up, because that is easy to grant permission but in the case of the double major no request is needed over twice and permission is very hard. Therefore you need to select carefully Because of if you selected the wrong major, you will be placed in difficult circumstances.

Our school is development day by day. but It isn't development what students don't used school's rule and systems. so we must know thorouly school's systems and rulls. Now, many students have discontent about the double major. But that is different personally. We wish that you complete successfully the double major in prudent decision and choice.
