When students fixed posters, the most popular place is Main gate wall. On Main gate wall, posters occupied every space. The next popular place is wall of the law school building construction and toilet. Because many students pass these places.
Places of fixing poster are not just wall. Some posters fixed on the ground, stairs. These posters can make various shapes; letter shape, and so on. However these types of posters can get damage easily, because many people step on these posters.
New type of poster is newsstand poster. This type of poster can move easily.
There are two ways of making posters. One is made by printing shop, and the other is made by people's hands. Making by hand is cheaper but cannot make many pages. The cost for making one page at printing shop is approximately 300 won which is more expensive than making by hand. Both methods have different advantages.
If they use printing shop, they can make many special and various posters, such as parody movie poster, colorful poster. On the other side, hand-made poster is cheaper and it can be more attractive than print house made poster, because these day many posters are print house made poster. So these rare hand made posters attract people's attention.

Another enemy of poster is 'Coming out of poster'. The reason of 'Coming out' is mostly wall. When you fix poster on the paint wall, you most be care for. Because old paint fragment can coming out with poster. Carve wall also do not attached well. So you must stick more tape to attach perfectly.
The other thing you should know about is stamp. When you stick poster, you must get stamp which inform removal date from Student Affairs Section. If you do not get stamp, cleaning ladies and guards will remove them.
Some poeple say that cleaning ladies and guards remove their posters before the removal date.
But one cleaning lady said "Commonly, we do not take off posters which have school stamp." However they re-fix nearly coming out poster which did not over removal date. However the wall of Computer Center, Art Center, Youngsin Hall do not allow fixing poster even though the poster has stamp. We can only stick at board, because, high position people and outside people visit these buildings often.

The CAH asked cleaning ladies and guards about the place that they do not want students to attach posters..' The chief of manager Eun Myeong-pyo said "Elevator is the worst place. If poster is attached in elevator, it remain mark of tape when they coming out. To remove this, we should use iron scrubber.
Than it remain scratches on the surface. Scratched elevator is not good looking." They don't like poster in toilet and glass, due to the same reason.
The last place that cleaning ladies and guards don't like is high spot of main gate wall. To remove it, they must use special tool. It is combination of Gum knife and stick. It is hard work even though they use this tool.

You see, some posters attached over the other poster, even though it is not over remove date. It will give complaints to others. And two or more organizations' relation will be worst. Of course, publicity activity is important.
But when you want publicity better than others, you should have competitive idea, not a big space. The poster which you get over is also important to other. In addition, if you attached your poster on the the others poster, you would regret that.

Most students do not remove posters even though the event is finished. So cleaning ladies remove it. Therefore you must come out the posters which you fixed, by yourself.
Maybe some students say "Why we should remove it? Isn't it the duty of cleaning ladies and guards?" However, in 1st campus, there are only 106 of cleaner ladies and guards. Actually, it is impossible that cleaner ladies and guards remove and clean all posters. But they do have many other works to do. Therefore let's remove your over-dated posters, to help cleaning ladies and guards.
As I said, we live in a flood of posters. Many shapes, many methods, and various posters appear. Some funny posters make smile on our face. Competition is also hot. The posters attached here and there.
However, many students are interested in attaching posters, but they do not think about removing them. If you really want to advertise your event or club, come out your over date poster. If you don't do that, your advertising is failed.
Because if people see that your do not come out poster, people think that you and your club is lazy and irresponsible. And think about cleaning ladies and guards. If you come out posters, they will be happy even though it is a little thing. So fixing it actively and coming out actively too!
