Jeong-su Scholarship Foundation is a nonprofit foundation founded, withthe purpose to give scholarship,  by former President Park Jeong-hee on 14 July 1962. He founded it to give a chance to serve country society with their ability and guarantee their right to be educated by supplying scholarship to capable student who has economic difficulties .

 
It received recommendations from the president of the whole country’s 80 universities. And then it chose scholarship student through hard screening. 40% of the allocations of the scholarship students are in the department of liberal arts students. The others are the science department. It chose scholarship students in proportion to the number of university’s quorum. It so far has supplied scholarship to 33,462 students worth 31,708,793,033won until 2005 from 1962. And it has supplied to learning study organization, education organ etc. 923,463,538won until 2005 from 1962.
The first event, was a scholarship documents presentation ceremony held by Lee Hye-seoung announcer’s progress. It started with CAU Korean classical music Department’s chamber music. The student on scholarship representative introduced foundation’s history. Choi Peel-rip, the chief director confer scholarship document to new students on scholarship. Park Bum-hoon, the president of CAU delivered a congratulatory. Kim Seong-han, Munhwa broadcasting station governor and Kim Jong-yul, Busan daily newspaper director, delivered scholarship. The second event was composed of CAU cheering party’s congratulation performance and students’ entertainment.

199 scholarship students included a graduate school already received a favor, now 7 students are grantedwith the full scholarship.
