How does advertisement attract us?
 Advertisement exercises much influence on us whenever we choose goods that we want to buy. Before, many advertisements appeared on TV. And nowadays, more ads are appearing on TV. Some people say that today’s ads are so creative that they cannot understand what they are talking about. What trends do ads have this year and how do advertisements attract us?

Gender roles are changing and reversing.
For example, in the past, many top actresses appeared on beverage ads, but recently Hyun-bin appears in the ‘Tea’ ad emphasizing his V-line, the line of his jaw. Besides, Lee Seung-gi made his appearance on a ‘Kimchi refrigerator’ ad and So Ji-seop appeared on an ‘Underwear’ ad. Normally, the models of these kinds of ads are done by young actresses. From such transition of models as we can see above, we can lead to a conclusion that models are not selected according to a certain age or gender target. Maybe, this preference of male ads is the result of our society putting stress on beautiful men.
 
The number of Amateur models is increasing.
Top stars appeared in ads in the past. Especially, in case of ‘APT apartment’ ads, leading actresses among top female celebrities appeared on ads. However, these days, the number of amateur models is increasing. Recently, for instance, on a certain ad, a father is singing a nuptial song on his daughter’s wedding ceremony. Seeing that ad, many people are impressed with the situation even though the model is not a top star, but because many people can relate to father's love.
 
The Law of Today’s Ads
Approach the public humanistically.
If people watch advertisements in a way if I could make the ads, am I able to make those ads? People can connect with the contents of ads and can never forget the product. Producers should not make customers feel uneasy. When ads use humanistic approaches, despite the fact that it serves a commercial purpose, viewers will be able to feel sympathy and be comfortable.
Make a story.
If we feel that the goal of ads we are watching right now is not promoting the goods, but to give us a story, we would not feel uncomfortable. That is to say, when ad producers make a 30 second- short story that is compressed from a long story, it leaves the public with a big impact. People who watch the story naturally get a feeling that if they buy such products, they can become the main characters of the storyline in ads.
 
Remain blank that people can think about ad.
If we ask people what kind of ads linger in their memory for a long time, the answer would be those that have less copy. Sometimes, ads play a role in motivating viewers to do something. Occasionally, consumers try to find concrete benefits because they become smart in modern society.
 
Update latest trends immediately.
There is always a change of trend in the market place. Thus, producers should focus on the latest trends, apply it to the market, and introduce new products to consumers. Producers should give the recognition that the reason why customers see the ad is that they can follow the trend. In other words, producers should use the copy and items applied in ads.
 
 
Although the effects of ads is likely to be invisible to human sight, we are very much affected by it. The laws of advertisements take advantage of this point. Since the ads approach the public mentally, they become the thing that people cannot reject. Ads have a trend like fashion. 10 years ago, ads that had implicative meaning were never screened and people could not understand the information well. Today, however, there are so many ads that imply something indirectly, so people cannot understand them at once. That is to say, they have to rethink the meaning of ads. Though ads have the downside that they cannot achieve the first goal, ads also have merits in that they are so creative that people do not feel bored. However, keep in mind that if ads do not do a role fully, they will break the connection that links drama to drama.
