Chung-Ang University made a contract with Dongjak Police Station about “creating a desirable university culture without 5 major types of violence.” These include drinking violence, extortion violence, violence committed by criminal organizations, sexual violence and school violence. The police will punish assailants harshly if students are involved in illegal extortion of money or goods due to inability of paying back loan from private money-lenders for paying tuition fee. Moreover, the police highly recommend registered students to participate in creating a safe drinking culture. Dongjak Police Station made “brave citizens” posters and posted them on school bulletin board. Go and check it out!
