1 ) FC Seoul vs. Suwon Bluewings

Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Manchester United, AC Milan Inter Milan, these teams are extremely famous, and they represent their football leagues. Their skills are so amazing that their plays make millions and millions of fans gather in front of TVs and at football stadiums. What about The Korea Football League? K-League has two major football teams, FC Seoul and Suwon Bluewings, which are famous in South Korea and Asia. They are much stronger than any other football team in K-League, and represent K-League and Korea football.

These two teams, FC Seoul and Suwon Bluewings, are rivals. Every time they play each other, many fans come to the colossal stadiums to cheer on their favorite teams. They have the highest number of fans coming to the stadium, and also, people consider their matches to be the most intense, belligerent, and awesome in the league.

There is one more astonishing point about these teams, their stadiums. They have amazing football stadiums that are enormously huge and wonderful. Also, they provide entertainment to the fans.

2 ) Stadiums

Seoul World Cup Stadium and Suwon World Cup Stadium, utilized by those two teams, represent the stadiums of Korea. They are colossal, and can have many people in them. Besides the stadiums, the places where they exist also have various attractions.

3 ) FC Seoul – Seoul World Cup Stadium

A ) How To Go?

Heukseok Subway Station, Line number 9 – Dangsan Subway Station, Line number 2 – Habjeong Subway Station, Line number 6 – Get off at World Cup Subway Station.

B ) It can accommodate up to 66,806 people, showing how big the stadium is, so the place also has several places to visit. Inside the stadium, it has, not only a movie theater and a Mart, but also The World Cup Memorial Museum. In the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup, this stadium had various and important matches, making it significant in Korean football history. For instance, France and Senegal for an opening match, and Korea and Germany for a semifinal match, were very important and intense.

When it does not have a football match, people are allowed to visit various places in the stadium. Not only The World Cup Memorial Museum, but also the locker room and benches for players and coaches are possible to visit. This shows how Korean Football became mature.

Also, FC Seoul Shop is amazing. Many people want to purchase uniforms and products related to FC Seoul, because buying these is a way to support FC Seoul. Relating to patriotism, there are many players that represent The Korean National Football team, making the uniforms valuable. However, the Vuvuzela is the best selling product in the shop, which makes the stadium blow up with a booing sound.

The FC Seoul Memorial Place is also great. FC Seoul became the strongest team in K-League currently. Because of its circumstance, it has many things to advertise. For example, trophies that it gained are exposed in the place. However, it is not always open. So, before visiting, people should call the team to know when it opens.

If you are tired, Seoul World Cup Stadium is a great place to revive, because, in the stadium, there are is the Sports Center, Sauna, swimming pool, golf practice center, and, astoundingly, a Korean dry sauna (Jjimjilbang).

C ) Places to visit near the stadium

There are famous parks near the world cup stadium, Nanji Creek Park, Sky Park, Peace Park, Noeul Park, and Nanji-han River Park. These places are well-decorated, so people go there to take a rest from the hectic society. However, one special thing about these parks is that they are founded on a big landfill. Especially, Nanji Creek Park is famous for being changed from a landfill to a park. People who lived near the landfill could not breathe when they went outside. However, now, people can go outside to exercise.

There is an agriculture-fish market, so when people get hungry, usually they visit this place to have some cheap sushi to enjoy. The sushi is very fresh, because sellers get those fish in the morning.

4 ) Suwon Bluewings – Suwon World Cup Stadium a.k.a Big Bird

Heukseok Subway Station, Line number 9 – Dongjak Subway Station, Line number 4 – Get off at Sadang Subway Station by using the 4th exit. – Ride on the 7000 or 7001 bus to go to Suwon World Cup Stadium.

B ) What is there?

It can accommodate up to 44,047 people, so it is a pretty big stadium compared to other stadiums outside of Seoul, the capital. Its nickname is Big Bird, because its ceiling looks very weird. One side is longer than the other one, making it look like a big bird flying. The stadium looks very special.

This stadium was also built for the 2002 World Cup. In 2002, there was Spain vs. Ireland, The U.S. vs Portugal, and etc, which were big football matches during the time. So, there is A World Cup Memorial Museum here similar to The Seoul World Cup Stadium.

C ) Places to visit near Suwon World Cup Stadium

There is a statue park near the stadium. There are 40 statues created by young makers and 10 statues for visiting makers. Yes, this place is usually for Suwon people. However, statues are very unique, because their theme conveys the power of human mentality. It is a good idea to visit this place after being crazy during football games.

Also, if you are hungry after the match, there is a famous restaurant near the stadium. Bear Mountain is the place. The dishes are very good and unique. Also, it has awesome design inside. However, the price is pretty expensive, so, before you go in, check your wallet first.

People usually go to Shinchon, Hong-ik University, and Gangnam to hang out. However, this is not a fresh way to experience a new thing. These two stadiums can provide people new experiences even for those who are not interested in soccer.
