There is the biggest mirror in the world. This mirror not only reflects my figure, my friends, and cars, but also embraces the sky, the sun, and beautiful nature. This very place is called Uyuni Salt Flat in Bolivia, a very famous place where many might have heard of it at least once. Uyuni Salt Flat looks very different from the typical picture of desert with vacant field of sand dust. However, the desert in Bolivia is not the typical kind, containing only sand. When water in Uyuni Salt Flat evaporates, it looks like a rice paddy cracked from a long drought, but when it rains it becomes a very shallow lake, reflecting the sky and all objects on the salt flat on the calm and placid lake. This creates a dreamlike world that cannot be distinguished where the sky begins and where is the ground with full of upside down decalcomania. This picture looks enchanted because we are used to looking at what we are used to see and thinking in the same ways trapped by status quo. Even though no salt flat is laid upon our view, let’s attempt on reversed thinking upside down and experience a totally new world with imagination. Even in the same experience, you can enter a new world depending on how you conceive the situation.
