Recently, there have been many cases of using illegal software and fonts that have caused infringement of copyright. This demeans CAU’s dignity and causes disputes related to copyright. There are some notices from the CAU information center.

First of all, illegal software on a PC (notebook computer) is forbidden to be brought into school. If you want to bring it in, you should report the equipment to your department supervisor.

 Secondly, you should delete any illegal software that you have downloaded on school computers. If you need shareware, please ask the Information Center and install it.

Lastly, it is forbidden to install software offered by the university except on PCs bought from the school. If you have already installed it, then please delete it.

          If you violate these 3 notices, you will be punished in accordance with civil/criminal laws. In this case, you can be punished with fines to the tune of up to fifty million won or be sentenced to 5 years. You should be careful not to use illegal software, in order to prevent any unfortunate events.
