To help library users with their research and learning, CAU Library has extended the borrowing period and the number of books that could be borrowed. From April 1st, people who finished their undergraduate studies and students who are on a leave of absence are allowed to borrow up to 10 books for 14 days. The extension period also increased from 5 days to 7 days. This is a same period and the number of books with enrolled undergraduate students. Before the change of the policy, people who finished their undergraduate studies and students who are on a leave of absence could borrow only 5 books for 10 days. Moreover, in the past, graduates were not allowed to reserve the books but they are now allowed.

The period and number of books that graduate students, part-time lecturers, and trainees can borrow are extended either. Graduate students could borrow 10 books for 14 days, but they can now borrow 20 books for 15 days. Part-time lecturers can borrow 20 books for 60 days and trainees can borrow 5 books for 10 days. Since there are a number of students and other library users who feel that the borrowing period and the number of books to borrow are too short and small, many people will surely welcome the school’s decision.
