On April 20th, a ceremony was held at the university president's meeting room on the third floor of Chung-Ang University's Campus building 201 in Seoul, to deliver the research scholarship fund by alumni of Ahngook Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Chairman Eo Jun-sun, who donated 200 million won that day, and has donated 3.3 billion won in the name of research scholarships since 2007. Eo Jun-sun graduated from the Department of Economics and established an enterprise called Ahngook Pharmaceutical which has grown into a leading company in the domestic pharmaceutical field. Eo Jun-sun has been making donations to foster younger students since 2007 with a special affection for his alma mater. On that day, President Park Sang-gue and other professors who benefited from the development fund also attended and delivered the certificate of deposit to Eo Jun-sun and thanked him. At the event, Eo Jun-sun said, "I am happy to give a small help to Chung-Ang University". In response, President Park Sang-gue said, "We think the achievements of alumni Eo Jun-sun will be an example of university society," adding, "We will make efforts to ensure the university repays their endless love”. The professors also said they would use 3.3 billion won spent on the research fund as a successful study.
