Seemingly as soon as the daily confirmed cases of COVID-19 hit 0, the virus began to spread again from Itaewon clubs. Despite this situation, students are still enthusiastic about learning. The library of Chung-Ang University temporarily changed the operation of the reading room in order to guarantee students' right to study and safety. Unlike the previous rule, in which the room operated from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., the operation time was extended to 10 p.m. This applies equally to all reading rooms. A ban was also added. It became mandatory to wear a mask. If a student is caught not wearing a mask when going out, the student will not be allowed to enter the library again. Conversations in reading rooms are prohibited. Moving to an unallocated space is also prohibited. Reading rooms will be operated on the same principle until July 4, when the non-face-to-face class ends. There has also been a change in the space for laptops in the library. Originally students were only allowed to use laptops in the 1A and the 3A laptop room. However, as with the changes in the reading room, until July 4, students can use their laptops in 1-4 and the 3A laptop room as well as the 3B/4A/4B reading rooms with partitions.
