As many of you already know, Chung-Ang University has its own medium-to-long-term vision. It is called ‘CAU2030’. There are 3 main goals of CAU2030. First, to be a “knowledge pioneer”. Second, student success. Last, a connected campus. To achieve the goals, Chung-Ang University is implementing a business to support innovative education. On July 7th, Dr. Park Sang-gue, the President of Chung-Ang University, said that Chung-Ang University is promoting a supporting business for the innovation of colleges and major departments of CAU. A total of 18 colleges and major departments have submitted piles of ideas for new businesses for innovating education. From all submitted them, only 7 were selected. Businesses from colleges will receive about one hundred million won and businesses from major departments will receive about fifty million won. Chung-Ang University is going to assist these new businesses with a total of 1.5 billion won over the next 2 years. Paik Jun-ki, the university’s Vice President, said the supported businesses would build up an infrastructure to prepare for an innate future education system. He requested to do the best one can to suggest the future vision for our university education.
