The Creative Learning of Venture and Entrepreneurship Relations(CLOVER) Consortium, which conducts business for start-up education based universities, signed a mutual cooperation memorandum of understanding(MOU). Chung-Ang University(CAU) is the host university for the CLOVER Consortium and Gangneung-Wonju National University, Hanbat National University, and Daejeon University are the participating universities. The purpose of the MOU was to enhance the start-up education in the central region and to bridge the educational gap between regions. The CLOVER Consortium’s vision is ‘Start-up Common University’ and it shares various start-up education capabilities that each university uniquely has. By that, it aims to create a start-up-friendly culture in the region and spread excellent start-up education contents to each educational institution in the community. In addition, it plans to support various start-up education programs such as providing demand-tailored consulting. Major cooperative projects in this agreement include joint development and utilization of start-up education contents in the era of online work and schooling, joint operation of start-up semester system and credit exchange system, exchange of professional personnel and sharing of physical infrastructure, sharing and spread of university capabilities and infrastructure to upgrade the ecosystem of local start-ups, and joint operation to establish and improve a start-up-friendly academic system.
