A second CAU Burger restaurant opened on March 2^nd at the Chung-Ang University’s Anseong Campus. CAU Burger is a fast-food restaurant that can only be seen on Chung-Ang University and is called a cost-effective restaurant for students, as it sells burgers and beverages at low prices. CAU Burger was called an attraction of Chung-Ang University but there was no branch on the Anseong Campus. However, CAU Burger recently opened in March after a new renovation of the university cafeteria on the Anseong Campus. The university operated a university cafeteria in building 707 (Student Social Center) by outsourcing to partners from 2006 to 2020. However, when criticisms about the university cafeteria of Anseong Campus continued, Chung-Ang University changed the operating system to direct management operation in 2021. Chung-Ang University also renewed the environment of the university cafeteria on Anseong Campus. The new university cafeteria added a self-ramen section as well as the second CAU Burger. The first CAU Burger was established in 2000 in building 205 (Student Union Hall) on the Seoul Campus. After the demolition of the 205 building, it moved to the basement 4th floor of the newly built 310 building (Centennial Hall). It was also renovated in July 2020 and became the current CAU Burger. At the second CAU Burger, you can enjoy the same menu as the Seoul campus with the same quality and price. You can enjoy Shrimp Burgers for 1,100 won and a Double Filet Burger for 2,800 won, etc. Coffee costs 1,000 won to 2,000 won. Operating hours of Anseong CAU Burger are from 9:00 to 18:00 and closed on holidays. The Second CAU Burger restaurant is located inside the university cafeteria in building 707 of Anseong Campus.
