Have you heard about the CAU e-Advisor? It is an AI based learner customized education support system for Chung-Ang University students. The Hanwha Systems ICT division built the system. The system helps each student’s overall college life such as helping students set their career, plan their studies, and prepare for employment. There are many services that students can use through the system. For example, with ‘Major Map,’ students are recommended customized major courses which can be a big help for them when registering for courses. With ‘Planning,’ they are recommended school subjects and nonsubject activities like seminars, so that students can plan their studies. Students can also manage their study schedule and coursework with ‘Learning Support.’ With ‘E-Notice,’ they can get information about school life, employment, and so on. With ‘Portfolio,’ students can see their strengths and weaknesses in their coursework, and are recommended programs that supplement their weaknesses. Moreover, with ‘Chatbot,’ students can easily find information that they need on CAU e-Advisor, and can use mobile voice recognition instead of typing. The system can be operated not only on PC but also on mobile application for the convenience of students. It also supports English and Chinese for foreign students who are not familiar with Korean.[i]
