The DAAD-Center for German and European Studies (ZeDES), Chung-Ang University, is being hosted "The Chung-Ang Germania Colloquium 2021" online. Formerly, the Chung-Ang Germania Colloquium was held in building 302 (Graduate School of Chung-Ang University) offline. However, they did not host the colloquium in 2020 due to COVID-19. This year they held the colloquium differently. Chung-Ang University students can participate in the Chung-Ang Germania Colloquium 2021 lectures through a Zoom link as notified in a CAU Notice (https://url.kr/bk2mgv). Students also could find out about the Chung-Ang Germania Colloquium at the website of the ZeDES. (https://zedes.cau.ac.kr/english/index.php) Chung-Ang Germania Colloquium 2021 was held six times with the general topics "Post-Corona Era: Grave Crisis, Great Transition." ZeDES said, "The COVID-19 crisis, which is still going on after more than a year since 2020, has revealed various crises and problems in our society that have been overshadowed. Therefore, the Department of German and European Studies at Chung-Ang University held a lecture with experts from related fields to diagnose the crisis more accurately." The first lecture began on April 2nd with the theme of "The Crisis of Youth: An Inconvenient Meeting of Youth with the Korean Unstable Labor Market," May 7th "The Crisis of Capitalism: Whose and What Kinds of Crisis is it?" Another lecture, "The Crisis of Ecology: Climate Crisis, From Great Acceleration to Daring Switch," will be held on June 4th September 3rd "The Crisis of Civilization: Anthropocentricism and Anthropocene." October 1st "The Crisis of Democracy: Disaster Capitalist Country and Post-Democracy." November 12th "The Crisis of Politics: Citizenship and Platform Work." The lecture is scheduled on Fridays from 18:00 to 20:00.
