"Hello, I'm Choi Min-ju, the 66th Editor-in-Chief of the CAH, Chung-Ang University’s English Newspaper." There's not much time left for me to be able to say this greeting. It is still hard to believe that my activities at the Chung-Ang Herald, which began with my admission to Chung-Ang University, are nearing the end. Looking back on the past, people usually end up feeling regret and longing. Recalling the past brings sadness, and it also stimulates nostalgia like black and white movies. I can't believe I'm leaving the Herald. Because I didn't think this day would come when I started as Editor-in-Chief.

I have spent over half of my school years on the Chung-Ang Herald since I was a freshmen. Time flies. Now, as the Editor-in-Chief, I have been in charge of the magazine for almost a year. Even though I went through hardships and still have some concerns, I learned a lot. Being a leader means being a representative of the group, so I learned how to be considerate and think before acting. Even though it took a considerable amount of effort, I learned how to manage and lead people, and I found myself needing to act more maturely than before. A couple of days are left before my retirement, I feel like I can do whatever I want to try.

It is no exaggeration to say that my experience at the Chung-Ang Herald over the past two years is my entire university life. Thanks to the CAH, I was able to have such special and precious experiences. Thanks to the work from a cub reporter to an editor-in-chief, who was unfamiliar with everything, I was able to experience a wide range of media work and practice looking at the big picture in detail. However, now I'm going to leave these experiences in the past and try new experiences, leaving the Chung-Ang Herald to the future Editors and reporters.

Thanks to my colleagues and reporters who always did their best, I was able to gain valuable experience and learn so much. I would like to express my gratitude to my colleagues who have been with me in the process of growing up with the Herald and those who have helped me from the outside. The fact that I met so many people through the Herald will be a good source of knowledge for me in my future. My term at the Chung-Ang Herald is over, but I hope you keep your eyes on my juniors who will continue their activities. Thank you for reading my last editorial here. Lastly, thank you for being with us so far.
