An unmanned copy room opened in the central library of Chung-Ang University (CAU). It is located in the 3rd floor reference room of the library, which is the Building 204. First of all, the time available for using the copy room is the same as the reference room’s opening and closing time. Starting from April 27th, 2021, the operating hours of the library have been adjusted. Accordingly, the reference room is open from 9 A.M. to 9 P.M. and is closed on weekends. Students must pay by credit card to use the copy machine and must do it themselves since it is an unmanned copy room. Copying and printing are possible, but bookbinding is not. Printing in white-and-black or color, and scanning can all be done. In order to use the copy room, students should follow the guidelines for quarantine management related to the library use. Students who have COVID-19 symptoms cannot use the library. Also, before entering the library, they should check their user access tag. They must not have a conversation in the reading room. Moreover, they can drink water or non-alcoholic beverages, but eating food is not allowed. Hand sanitization is essential and library entrance of students with respiratory illness are restricted. If students violate any of these guidelines, they are prohibited from entering the library. Those who have any questions can contact the reference room at 02-820-6190.
