On May 2021, the Library & Academic Information Services, Chung-Ang University (CAU) signed an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the world's leading academic Database companies, Clarivate and Elsevier. The agreement ceremony was held to enhance the expertise of the "Research Analysis Research Trend (ART)", which is provided to researchers by the CAU Academic Information Service since September 2020. Clarivate and Elsevier might be unfamiliar companies to ordinary students. However, they are the global representatives in academic Database (DB). Clarivate and Elsevier are providing core data, information, business operations solutions, and deep professional domain technology around the world. Both companies are interested in RSS (my RSS, ART), a personalized research support service currently provided by CAU, and has signed an MOU with CAU. ART and my RSS are researcher-specific analysis platforms. Yoo Chun-seop, head of the Subject Information Service Team of Library & Academic Information Services said, "This MOU shows that the research platform that Chung-Ang University's Academic Information Service is providing is innovative even in a global perspective. Currently, experts from Clarivate and Elsevier and librarians from CAU are working together to raise the level of research support services which will be provided to professors and researchers in CAU.” In fact, CAU drew a great response from many university libraries by announcing the ”Implementation and Operation Examples of CAU Research Support Services (RSS)" at the National Library Conference organized by the Korea Education and Research Information Service on June 24th, 2021.
