From July 2021, students of Chung-Ang University can access the contents of The New York Times at no charge. Through the signing of the ‘Campus wide Access Program’ with The New York Times, our university members can use the campus network to access The New York Times website (nytimes.com) and use all content without limitation through a simple registration process. The New York Times is an American daily newspaper founded in 1851. It is a global media outlet operated in 16 countries and 11 other U.S. offices and 26 overseas offices including New York State. The New York Times homepage contains various contents which have recorded the history of the past 160 years such as articles, journals, images, posters, etc. Our Chung-ang family is now provided with content from The New York Times, which has a global influence in social, economic, and cultural fields, to acquire knowledge in various fields and develop critical thinking skills. If you access The New York Times website from the campus network, you can check the 'Welcome pop-up message.' Doosan Group conducted this program as part of Doosan Group's social contribution activities. The Doosan Group has been conducting various activities to contribute to the social community and help its members grow. Students can also access to The New York Times with CAU portal ID even if they are off campus.
