On August 17^th, 2021, Chung-Ang University (CAU) signed an exchange agreement with Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). The cooperation was based on student-disciplinary exchange and human-material infrastructure sharing. Through this agreement, CAU and POSTECH promised to promote exchanges in various fields such as education, research, and academic industries in order to cooperate for mutual development. Specifically, the two universities agreed to share education programs and infrastructure that emphasizes their strengths such as co-hosting academic competitions, research institutes, student exchanges, and mutual credit recognition. Also, it includes building online and offline lecture and micro-content sharing platform, sharing educational and non-subject data for student career development, educational materials, and equipment. The agreement shows the willingness to develop together through intense cooperation even during the current COVID-19 situation and can be seen as a turning point of higher education.
