1st CAU local innovator is selected and their project has begun. Project goal is training professional supporters who can come up with solutions and apply it directly to ”Glocal” (Global + Local) social problems. It was recruited for students at Chung-Ang University (CAU) and organized by the Center for Teaching and Learning. Applications were received from August 9th to 28th and recruited by submitting an action plan in the Rainbow system. Innovators' activities began in earnest starting with orientation and pre-education on September 8th, 2021. On September 8th, a special lecture on community problem solving was given by Professor Choi Yong-seok, who is in charge of start-up education at the LINC Business of CAU with the opening ceremony through ZOOM. Later, non-face-to-face support activities training was held in September via e-class. Supporters' activities education is available to students even who are not supporters. Therefore, students who are interested in the lecture can take the lecture by contacting the Center for Teaching and Learning. After the training, in September and October, the innovators will be divided into teams to conduct community problem-solving activities. Students will write activity reports containing project results, and the progress will be announced in November through a performance report ceremony. Students who participate in the CAU local innovator will provide non-subject mileage, activity confirmation, and souvenirs under the name of the Director of the Da Vinci Institute of learning innovation. Let's look forward to the changes that the innovators will lead through the community development project.
