From August 13^th to September 10^th this year, the contest for selecting the new name of Chung-Ang University (CAU) Anseong Campus took place in the school portal website. Participation process was very simple. After logging in to the portal of CAU, it was possible to release it in a rising court, and Chung-Ang University alumni were also able to participate in the contest through the QR code given to the alumni. The administrative team of CAU’s Office of Academic Affairs launched a promotion in which 500 participants drawn by lottery are provided gifts worth 10,000 won, which was paid on September 17^th. Since the first opening of the Anseong Campus in 1980, the official name of the Anseong Campus has not changed. Although the Student Council chose the name ‘Da Vinci Campus’ in 2014, it was only one of three unofficial names in the document submitted to the student council at the site. Through this contest, the enthusiasm of many students who hoped that the Anseong Campus would have a hopeful name was delivered to whole school.
