Chung-Ang University's (CAU) School of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and School of Computer Science and Engineering all received the "Best leading" rating in the 2021 university evaluation from an industrial perspective. University evaluation from an industrial perspective is conducted by the Association Board for Engineering Education of Korea (ABEEK) and the Ministry of Education with the aim of improving the university curriculum to foster manpower that meets industrial demands. Every year the evaluation fields vary, and this year's evaluation areas were chemical engineering (refinery, chemical engineering), electronic engineering (semiconductor), and computer engineering (software). CAU participated in all three fields. The evaluation grade is divided into three: best, excellent, and good. CAU received the "best lead" rating given in all three fields. The fact that the CAU received the best lead in all areas evaluated shows that the industry views CAU positively.
