From the 1^st semester of 2022, CAU Korean Language Editing Service (CAKE), an online Korean language revision service for Chung-Ang University (CAU) foreign students will be implemented. This service is created to help foreign students who are struggling at CAU to write reports and papers in Korean. Undergraduate students can apply to CAKE once a semester, for help on presentation manuscripts and papers related to their courses. Graduate students can apply for degree papers and academic papers once during their degree program. Since it is an online service, after accessing the CAKE service website and uploading documents, your document can be edited by tutors anytime and anywhere. Korean language tutors are Korean undergraduate students of CAU who passed strict document screening tests to evaluate their revising skills, and consistently participating in tutor competency enhancement programs. In addition, international students can check the majors of the tutors and their results of the past revising evaluations, allowing them to select from one to three candidates to edit their work. When the tutors complete the revising service, international students can receive the revised document with the explanation of the contents. Korean tutors are always recruited amongst currently enrolled students, and there is no limit to the number of tutors. Also, Tutors can receive scholarship subsidies and activity confirmations from the dean of international affairs as benefits.
