On January 28^th, 2022, the "POLARIS SIF 2022 Festival Awards," one of the programs of the next-generation semiconductor consortium of universities was held at Chung-Ang University. The ceremony was attended by the head of each united project team, professors, as well as students eligible for the awards. The consortium of university’s next-generation semiconductor project is a program aimed at fostering future talents who will lead the next-generation semiconductor field in the 4^th industrial revolution and was held together with Kangwon National University, Daegu University, Seoul National University, Soongsil University, Chosun College of science and Technology, Chung-Ang University, and Pohang University of Science and Technology. This program provides opportunities for non-major students as well as major students to participate if they are interested. Among them, the festival was a competition held for students taking more than one consortium university class at any of the seven universities participating in the project. The ceremony was divided into semiconductor-themed inventions, ideas, and essays. 15 invention teams, 25 idea teams, and 12 essay teams participated, and 14 invention teams, 11 idea teams, and 9 essay teams were awarded after screening the finals.
